Interview Summary: Mr. Bian moved to the United States in search of a better life for both himself and his family. We discussed his motivations for immigrating, what it has been like raising American daughters, and the differences in culture between China and America.  These two girls are sisters and the daughters of Mr. Bian. I interviewed them together for the sake of hearing them side by side as we discussed their knowledge of their parents’ immigration, their connections to culture, and the things they wish they knew more about in relation to those.
